Club Lime has extended its long-standing partnership with the Canberra Raiders through to the end of the 2028 NRL season, expanding its presence across the Raiders’ NRL, NRLW and junior pathways while marking a major 25-year milestone in the partnership’s history.
The new two-year agreement will see Club Lime retain its prominent lower-back jersey position on the Raiders’ NRL playing and training apparel, while extending its on-apparel presence to the Raiders’ NRLW, NRLW U/19s and U/17s teams for the first time.
Club Lime branding will feature on the back of the playing and training shorts for each of the women’s and junior teams, increasing the fitness brand’s visibility across the Raiders’ broader playing pathway.
The partnership will also see the existing Legends Lounge in the Meninga Stand renamed the Club Lime – Legends Lounge, giving Club Lime naming rights to one of the Raiders’ key match-day hospitality spaces.
Club Lime is one of Viva Leisure’s flagship brands. Since opening its first gym in Canberra, it has grown to more than 133 locations across the ACT, NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Across its network of brands, Viva Leisure serves more than 700,000 members.
Viva Leisure Chief Operating Officer Sean Hodges said the partnership’s longevity reflected the strength of the relationship between two organisations with deep roots in Canberra.
“Club Lime and the Raiders have grown alongside each other for more than two decades, so extending this partnership through to 2028 is particularly meaningful,” Hodges said.
“What makes this next chapter exciting is that we’re expanding our support beyond the NRL team to include the NRLW and junior pathways. Fitness is for everyone, and we’re proud to support all athletes at every stage of their development.
“We’re also looking forward to creating more opportunities for Raiders members and fans to engage with Club Lime, both in Canberra and across the country.”
Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the club was proud to continue its long-standing partnership with one of Canberra’s most recognisable brands.
“Club Lime has been part of the Raiders family for more than two decades, and it’s fantastic to see this partnership continue to grow,” Furner said. “We’re privileged to have associations with many iconic Canberra brands and Club Lime is certainly one of these.”
“Our players have long used Club Lime facilities in Canberra and at interstate locations when we’re on the road, so there’s a genuine connection between our organisations beyond match day.
“Expanding the partnership across our NRLW and junior teams is a great next step and reflects the shared values of health, performance, teamwork and community that sit at the heart of both organisations.
The partnership between Club Lime and the Canberra Raiders began in 2003, with the latest agreement taking it through the 2028 season, when the duo will celebrate 25 years of partnership.
