Strong Raiders presence across 2026 Rugby League World Cup

The Canberra Raiders NRL and NRLW sides have been rewarded with selection across multiple 2026 International squads ahead of the Rugby League World Cup.

Australia

Raiders NRLW co-captain Simaima Taufa has been named to represent the Australian Jillaroos in what will be her third World Cup.

Raiders five-eighth Ethan Strange will be a shadow reserve for the Australian Kangaroos in the upcoming World Cup. 

New Zealand

Raiders NRL Captain Joe Tapine seeks glory as he lines up to play in his third World Cup for the New Zealand Kiwis.

The NRLW Meninga Medalist Leianne Tufuga will pair with club co-captain Zahara Temara for the New Zealand Kiwi Ferns in their first World Cup in the black and white.

England

Raiders NRLW backrower Hollie-Mae Dodd will represent England in her second World Cup.

Samoa

Raiders rising star Ata Mariota has been named for his debut World Cup after representing Toa Samoa in last year's Pacific Championships.

Fiji

Raiders NRLW duo Sereana Naitokatoka and Isabella Waterman have been named in the Fiji Bulikula squad for the World Cup.

The pair led Fiji to a World Cup qualifying win over Nigeria last year in Canada.

Papua New Guinea

Raiders NRLW outside-back Relna Wuruki-Hosea will represent Papua New Guinea Orchids in the 2026 Women's Rugby League World Cup.

Cook Islands

The 2026 club Junior Rep Male Player of the Year Chaev Kolone has been named in the Cook Island squad for the World Cup.
