Canberra Raiders rising stars Brenko Lee, Patrick Mago and Luke Bateman have all been named in the Queensland Emerging Origin squad.


Luke Bateman represented at both under 18 and under 20 level for Queensland last season, Patrick Mago represented Queensland under 18s in 2012 and represented the Junior Kangaroos this season, while Brenko Lee has represented Queensland in under 16s (2010) and 18s and 20s (both in 2013.)


The selections follow on from Trent Schubach and Tevita Pangai Junior being selected recently in the NSW emerging origin squads.


Players will assemble at the QAS Academy of Sport, Nathan, on Thursday, January 23 and will complete their final camp commitments on the Sunday morning of January 26.


QAS Rugby League director Wayne Bennett and Maroons Under 20s coach Kevin Walters will co-ordinate the camp, which is set to include field sessions and presentations on Origin history/culture.


Squad members will all be pushing for selection in Walters Queensland Under 20s team to play New South Wales in the annual representative fixture.
