If you are looking for a fun-filled, family orientated way to spend your Australia Day then head to Stage 88, Commonwealth Park where amongst a plethora of exciting activities, the NRL Development Officers and the Canberra Raiders cadets will be conducting a rugby league coaching clinic.

In addition to the exclusive coaching clinic and pass the ball competition, boys and girls will be able to play on the Raiders’ Viking Ship jumping castle and enjoy fantastic giveaways such as Raiders Fandannas, posters, tattoos and membership information.

After whetting your appetite enjoying the greatest game of all, children and adults will also have the opportunity to register with their local junior/senior Canberra Region Rugby League club.

“Australia Day in the Park will be a great way to spend Australia Day and the NRL and the Raiders are proud to be involved in it,” NRL Development Officer Ash Barnes said. “We look forward to seeing as many smiling faces as possible in what is sure to be a fun-filled day.”

Australia Day in the Park begins at 7:30am and finishes at 2:00pm at Stage 88, Commonwealth Park.

Following Australia Day in the Park will be Australia Day Fireworks at Regatta Point, National Library Lawns from 9:00pm.
