Raiders halfback Mitch Cornish will escape suspension after taking the early guilty plea for a grade one dangerous contact charge.

Cornish was charged for unneccesary pressure to the head/neck of Dragons winger Brett Morris in the 55th minute and was given 100 points for the charge, but an early plea will see him escape suspension with 75 carryover points.

Cornish will be free to play this weekend.

In VB NSW CUP Judiciary News Lagi Setu will also take an early guilty plea for a raised knee in a tackle playing for Mounties against North Sydney on Saturday. He will escape suspension and have 75 carryover points.
