The Raiders have announced today they have released Matt McIlwrick from his contract with the club.  

McIlwrick thanked the Raiders for the opportunity to start his career in the NRL.

“The Raiders brought me over from Christchurch and gave me a chance to chase my NRL dream and for that I will always remain thankful,” McIlwrick said. “I’ll never forget my time at the club and I thank everyone who has helped me along the way.”

"I've have some wonderful friends and some great memories to take with me and I also want to thank the members and fans for their support in my time with the club. 

The Raiders would like to take the opportunity to wish Matt all the best for his future in the game.
