The Canberra Raiders will kick-off their 2015 home campaign this weekend, with a huge range of promotions and competitions available for members and supporters who attend the match on Sunday at GIO Stadium.
The Raiders started their season last weekend with an impressive 24-20 win over the Cronulla Sharks and return home for the first time in 2015 to face the New Zealand Warriors.
Round one at GIO Stadium is member’s recognition round, with club members to feature in a number of special ways, including the new members honour board which features the name of all 2015 club members who signed up before February 25 and the new Bleed Green Competition, which gives members the chance to win a range of prizes across the season.
Match Day Sponsor the Military Shop is giving people who attend the match a chance to win some great prizes, with the most creative pictures on Instagram and Twitter using the Hashtag #MilitaryShop winning some Military Shop prizes.
Fans are encouraged to visit the Jersey’s Megastore merchandise marquees on both sides of the ground to pick up the latest edition of the Raider Magazine, which includes the NRL player profiles, team poster and a feature on new recruits Sia Soliola and Frank Paul Nuuausala.
Members who visit the marquee between 5.30pm and 6.30pm for the Raiders discount hour will also receive 15% off their purchase of Raiders merchandise.
The DHA beanies are back as well in 2015, with a new look lime green beanie set to be hot property at Raiders matches. Fans can pick one up at the game by making a gold coin donation to Soldier On.
A new look Western forecourt will be buzzing with activity, with Victor’s Viking Ship back for 2015, along with the Hart Sport Obstacle course for all budding league stars with the help of NRL Development staff, while DJ Rawson will be pumping music to get fans excited for the big game.
Pre-Game, the Emeralds will be back for their first performance of the season, while the Raiders will be firing their brand new T-Shirt cannon thanks to www.raidersshop.com.au
At halftime we’ll have the Huawei High Ball challenge, with the weekly winner winning a Huawei Device and the end of season winner a trip to the 2015 NRL Grand Final, as well as the Lighthouse Dance Cam.

All in all it promises to be a massive day at GIO Stadium. Gates open at 4.00pm, with the NYC match at 4.15pm between the Raiders and Warriors and NRL match between Raiders and Warriors at 6.30pm.
