Judiciary: Round 22

Front-rower David Shillington and centre Joseph Leilua have both been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following last night's game against the Wests Tigers at GIO Stadium in Round 22.

Shillington has been charged with a Grade 1 Contrary Conduct charge on opposition prop Aaron Woods in the 80th minute of the 20-18 loss to the Tigers. The base penalty for the charge is 125 points, however the club has elected to take an early guilty plea meaning that Shillington will be free to play on Sunday afternoon against the Manly Sea Eagles. Shillington will have 93 carry over points from the charge.

Leilua has been charged with a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge on Tigers forward Kyle Lovett in the 61st minute. The base penalty for the charge is 200 points, however the club has again elected to take an early guilty plea which reduces the penalty to 150 points. This unfortunately means that Leilua will miss Sunday's match against the Sea Eagles but will be free to play the Gold Coast Titans in Round 24. Leilua will also have 50 carry over points from the charge upon his return.
