Canberra Raiders hooker Josh Hodgson and new recruit Elliott Whitehead have both gained selection in the England squad for the upcoming tests against France and New Zealand.
Hodgson had an outstanding first season in the NRL where he showed his class at hooker to cement the position for the Green Machine and become one of the teams most consistent performers. He has been rewarded for his efforts by maintaining his place in the England squad from last years Four Nations tournament.
Elliott Whitehead has also retained his place in the England Squad after another strong season in the English Super League, as he picked up the Catalans Dragons Players Player and Player of the Year awards.
He will join the Raiders for pre-season training at the end of the International series.
