Nine of the Canberra Raiders NRL squad attended the 2016 Convoy for Cancer Families in support of the Cancer Support Group.

The packed convoy travelled from Queanbeyan to Exhibition Park on Sunday, with the boys having prime positions in Canberra Milk trucks. Following the completion of the convoy a carnival was held with Shannon Noll performing and plenty of entertainment for families.

Blake Austin, Elliott Whitehead, Jeff Lima, Josh Papalii, Sia Soliola, Jack Wighton, Josh Hodgson, Aidan Sezer and Adam Clydsdale all attended the event.

Star Raiders five-eighth Austin was more than happy to take part in the event for such a great cause.

"The Convoy for Cancer is held for a really good cause, raising money for the Cancer Support Group. Congratulations to everybody involved in running the event. Me and rest of the boys had a great day out and I'm looking forward to returning next year," Austin said.

The Cancer Support Group is a nominated charity of the Canberra Raiders.
