One of the biggest games of the year in Canberra is on Saturday, with the Raiders taking on the Wests Tigers in the Anzac Day long weekend blockbuster. The Raiders are proud to offer free admission to the game for returned and current defence personnel.

The Forever Green reunion will be taking place at GIO Stadium on Saturday, with over 50 past Raiders legends attending a function at the game. Some of the past players will also be participating in a lap of honour at half-time of the NRL game.

The official match day charity is Menslink, a leading organisation in Canberra providing support and advice for men struggling through tough or lonely times.

TICKETS TO RAIDERS V TIGERS

FREE ENTRY FOR DEFENCE PERSONNEL

The Canberra Raiders are proud to offer free admission to GIO stadium for Round 8 v Tigers for the below:

- Current service personnel with official Defence ID
- Defence Personnel with a Returned from Active Service Badge
- Ex Service Personnel wearing Medals (ex-soldiers)
- RSL Members with an RSL Badge

Individuals meeting this criteria are to present their ID/ Badge/ Medals at the East & West ticketing booths to be issued a complimentary paper ticket. Only available on game day and subject to availability.

MEMBERS

Members will have access to the Northern End of the West Lounge from 3pm. The Southern end of the members lounge will be closed from 3pm until the completion of the NRL game for the Forever Green reunion.

Just show your membership card or grandstand ticket and you will be given entry to the designated area. The following promotions will be running in the members lounge:

- Free Menslink football to the first 100 members to visit the lounge
- Member rates for drinks 5-5.30pm
- Snack foods available for purchase (10% discount for members)
- Team announcement and interview with Sia Soliola broadcast into the lounge at approx. 4.30pm
- Lucky Door prize: signed jersey

Members at the game receive 10% off all food and 20% off full-priced merchandise. Merchandise from Raiders Shop will be set up in the East and West forecourts, and also in the East Concourse. Stocked with all the latest Raiders gear, make sure you stop by and check them out.

It’s not too late to become a member on game day, with a Raiders membership marquee located out the front of the West gate. Membership is more than just a ticket to the game, with exclusive events, discounts, access to the members lounge and Raiders merchandise.

FOREVER GREEN REUNION

Over 50 past Raiders players will be at the game for the Forever Green Reunion. Raiders members will have the opportunity to meet and greet the past players, from 7.30-8.30pm in the West Lounge (Southern End). Present your members card to gain access to the Southern End of the lounge after full-time.

ENTERTAINMENT

In the west forecourt there will be a live musician from 3.30-5.30pm, Tonguey’s Tuck Shop and the ActewAGL Pass the Ball. There will also be a life-size cut-out of the team for photos.

PRE-GAME ENTERTAINMENT

Make sure you arrive early at GIO Stadium as there will be plenty happening before kick-off of the NRL game. There will be a live on-field interview with Dr Brendan Nelson, the director of the Australian War Memorial.

Following this will be a ceremonial performance from the Australian Federation guard and the Royal Military College Band, the reading of The Ode by VC recipient Ben Roberts-Smith and the Last Post Ceremony, with the Australian and New Zealand National Anthems occurring prior to kick-off.

HALF-TIME ENTERTAINMENT

The Royal Military rock band will be performing at half-time, with past Raiders players also doing a lap of honour.

The Lighthouse Pub and Coca Cola will be running competitions during half-time, make sure you keep an eye on the big screen for your chance to win.

MERCHANDISE

Raiders merchandise will be on sale in the West and East forecourts, and also on the East concourse. Members receive 20% off all full-priced merchandise (sale items excluded)!

MATCHDAY CHARITY

The official match day charity for round eight is Menslink, a leading organisation in Canberra who the Raiders have partnered with for the Silence is Deadly campaign, which aims to encourage males to talk and seek advice about problems they may encounter.

Tonguey's Tuck Shop will be up and running at GIO Stadium on Saturday! Located in the West forecourt upon entry, Tonguey's Tuck Shop will be serving a wide variety of delicious street food at cheap prices.

All individuals who have membership enquiries can visit our Membership marquee outside the West Gate off Battye Street.

All members who have misplaced/lost their membership card can visit the Membership/Ticket Collection window located at the West Gate. Proof of identification will be needed to print off replacement tickets for the day.
