A Raiders membership is a lot more than just a ticket to the game. Raiders member Graham Knight couldn’t agree more with this statement when he found out that he was the lucky winner of the ultimate overnight safari at Jamala Wildlife Lodge in Canberra.

Valued at over $1000, the prize was thanks to Jamala Wildlife Lodge and Coca-Cola Australia. All Raiders members who signed up before March 26th were eligible for the prize, with Mr Knight the lucky one randomly chosen.

Having supported the Raiders since the mid 1980’s and been a season ticket holder since 1992, Mr Knight was a deserving winner of the prize.

“My wife Patricia knew about the competition but I had not tuned in. I was stunned when Rebecca from the Raiders phoned and said I had won the competition. For a bloke who has never won anything in his life it came as a bit of a shock,” Mr Knight said.

Mr Knight wisely chose to take his wife Patricia, also a Raiders member, along for the safari.

“Our time at Jamala Wildlife Lodge was tremendous. Being shown around the zoo, including parts not open to the public, by two expert tour guides was very good."

“The meals were excellent, particularly the evening meal and drinks. We upgraded a little and had a tree house with the Giraffe looking into the accommodation.”

With seven homes games left in 2016, there’s still plenty of value in becoming a Raiders member. One, two, four and six game membership options are the perfect choice for fans looking to attend the upcoming blockbuster matches at GIO Stadium, against the likes of the Cowboys, Bulldogs, Sea Eagles and Storm.

A Raiders membership is easily the best value way to watch the Raiders play at GIO Stadium, and also grants access to a range of benefits and discounts including exclusive member events, 20% off full-priced purchases at Raiders Shop, discounts off food at GIO Stadium and access to the members lounge on game day. Every membership also comes with a Raiders merchandise pack.
