Just like Clay Priest did last season, new recruit Scott Sorensen wants to win the Raiders Rookie of the Year this season.
Sorensen has followed almost exactly the same path as Priest, gaining a call-up to the Raiders after impressing for Mounties in the Intrust Super Premiership.
After playing his first minutes for the Raiders at the Auckland Nines, Sorensen said his next goal is impressing in the Raider trial next weekend.
