Kangaroos coach and Raiders legend Mal Meninga stopped by GIO Stadium this morning to chat about the upcoming ANZAC Test in Canberra and the Raiders players he has been keeping an eye on.

Meninga spoke to Raiders TV on his excitement at the Kangaroos returning to Canberra.

"It's exciting personally for me. When I heard about it it sent a real tingle down my spine," Meninga said.

With just over four weeks to go until the ANZAC Test, Meninga said a few Raiders players are in contention to be selected for the Kangaroos.

"We've got a number of Raiders players in contention, Shannon Boyd and Josh Papalii. Jarrod Croker comes into calculation because Greg Inglis is out. Joey Leilua I think is still pushing for that spot."

"Obviously with the Kiwis you've got Joseph Tapine and Jordan Rapana as well. It's an exciting time for rugby league in Canberra."
