The Canberra Raiders have named their team for Saturday’s match against the Penrith Panthers at Carrington Park in Bathurst.

Shannon Boyd has been ruled out indefinitely with a knee injury, which means Sia Soliola will start the match at Prop and Luke Bateman will come back into the team after recovering from a minor thumb injury.

Boyd will be assessed weekly by medical staff before a return date is set.

In some unfortunate news for the Raiders, Dunamis Lui has been ruled out for the season after suffering an ACL injury in his knee.

Royce Hunt is in line to make his NRL debut after being named on the bench, with Scott Sorensen and Dave Taylor also named in the extended Raiders squad.

After playing the last three weeks for Mounties in the Intrust Super Premiership, Kurt Baptiste has also been named in the extended squad for the first time in 2017.
