The Cowboys ran out as 31-18 winners on a cold night at GIO Stadium in Canberra and they dominated the majority of the game having 59% possession.

In total the men from North Queensland had 37 total sets (completing 32) whilst the Green Machine had 35 but could only complete 21.

The visitors conjured up a whopping 1733 running metres compared to Canberra's 1283. The Green Machine did manage more offloads however with 11 compared to the Cowboys 8.

The Raiders only made 26 missed tackles compared to the Cowboys 41.

Kurt Baptiste received a late call up to the starting side in place of the injured Josh Hodgson and made 38 tackles in total.

Sia Soliola clocked up the most tackles with 39 while Luke Bateman was not far behind on 37.

Nick Cotric made the most metres for the Green Machine with 147. The young star scored another spectacular try as he continues his rise.

On his 200th first grade game (Super League included) Elliott Whitehead grabbed a try and a try assist during the contest.
