We crunch the numbers from Saturday night's morale boosting win over the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium.

It was a solid performance from Ricky Stuart's men and the coach will be pleased with what he saw as they head into their Rd 22 match against the Sharks in Cronulla.

The Raiders were destructive with the ball and made a whopping 1689 running metres compared to their opponents 1499.

The halves combination of Aidan Sezer and Blake Austin have been coming to fruition lately and combined to make 468 kicking metres.

The Raiders have had to endure big pressure in defence lately, however they only had to make 271 tackles due to their possession in attack. The Rabbitohs were struggling and the sin-bin of Angus Crichton didn't help their woes as they completed 343 tackles.

Canberra were much improved on their completion rate this week. In total they had 41 sets completing 33 whilst Souths and could only execute 26 of their 37 (70%).

Jarrod Croker was on fire notching up a try and an assist to add to his impressive conversion rate from the night. The skipper nailed 5/5 whilst also grabbing a penalty goal to add to that.

Jack Wighton has proved time and time again that he is a great runner with the ball as he completed the most amount of metres from both sides with 210 in total.

Joe Tapine had an outstanding match in the absence of Josh Papalii and Sia Soliola as he completed 166 running metres from 15 runs combined with 18 tackles and a try to his name.

The young New Zealand international also made a line break before laying off a pass to Jarrod Croker who offloaded to Nick Cotric for a try in the first half.
