Sia Soliola was a consistent performer for the Raiders in 2017 as he put in some gutsy performances.

A leader on and off the pitch as well as being a fantastic ambassador in the community, Soliola was a handy asset for Ricky Stuart and the Raiders with his versatility in the forward pack.

In the Raiders rd 2 match against the Cronulla Sharks at GIO Stadium the former New Zealand and Samoan international made a whopping 43 tackles tackles.

Shuffling around between the second-row, lock and prop, Soliola bagged his only try for the season against the Parramatta Eels in rd 5 at GIO Stadium.

Soliola continued to be a mainstay in the Raiders side averaging 89 running metres per game as well as 30 tackles.

In the green machine’s rd 19 loss to the Melbourne Storm, Soliola was suspended for 5 weeks for a high shot on Billy Slater. During the match Soliola put on a pass for Nick Cotric to score on the wing.
