2019 Junior Representative Trials

Registrations for the Canberra Raiders SG Ball, Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale Cup team trials for the 2019 season shut this Sunday.

This combine trial process will be run over the weekend of 5th, 6th and 7th of October and will include athletic testing, skills testing and a trial match format.

The Canberra Raiders recognise and support CRL pathways and will be using these trial dates to assist in the identification of talent that might fit into the Monaro and Riverina Academy structures as well as the Canberra Raiders Junior Rep pathways. Players with an interest in either or both pathways should attend these trials.

All trials will be held at Seiffert Oval in Queanbeyan. The following dates apply:

Friday 5th October from 5:00pm to 8:00pm (registration opens from 4:00pm).

All athletes trialling must fill in the online registration form. Please ensure you supply accurate and current contact information, most importantly your e-mail address and mobile phone number.
Once you have registered you are automatically selected as attending the trial.

Trial day requirements:

You will need to bring playing attire such as football boots, shorts and socks. Mouthguards are strongly recommended as is any other protective wear you would normally use in a game. We will have Trainers available to assist with your strapping needs, you will need to supply your own strapping tape. If you require strapping please come to the registration desk early. A numbered trial jersey will be loaned to you for the trial, it is important you don't swap it after it has been allocated to you as this is how you will be identified during the day. All jerseys are to be returned after the trial.

Every athlete trialling must register at the desk when they arrive, failure to do so will mean you will not be identified as arriving and your name will be removed from the list. Once registered and allocated a numbered jersey you will be advised where to assemble and a coach will take you to your designated testing station.

Online registrations close on Sunday 30th of September, due to large numbers late registrations will not be accepted.

If you have any questions regarding this process please email trials@raiders.com.au

We are looking forward to seeing you in action.
