Round 3 Junior Representatives Preview

The Canberra Raiders Junior Representative sides are all on the road this Saturday as they head to Mascot Oval in Sydney for Round 3.

S.G. Ball Cup

North Sydney Bears v Canberra Raiders
1:30pm, Saturday 23rd February, Mascot Oval

With a win and loss from their first two fixtures of the season, the Raiders travel to Sydney to face the North Sydney Bears.

The Raiders will be looking to bounce back after a poor second half saw them beaten comfortably by Balmain despite having a halftime lead.

After enjoying the bye in Round 1, the Bears suffered a loss last weekend against the Panthers and will be looking for their first win of the campaign.

The Raiders claimed a gritty win against the Balmain Tigers last weekend to kickstart their campaign and will look to continue their momentum against the Bears.

So far, the Raiders' two games have had a final margin of 8 points or less.

North Sydney, like their S.G. Ball side, enjoyed the bye in Round 1 before succumbing to the Panthers last Saturday.

The Raiders have proven to be competitive in their first two fixtures of the campaign and hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to Mascot searching for their first win.

Their opposition for this weekend also enter the match looking for their first win of the season.

Interestingly, the Raiders have scored 14 points in both their matches, while the Indigenous Academy have scored 10 points in both their fixtures to date.
