Round 4 Junior Representatives Wrap

The Raiders’ Tarsha Gale Cup side claimed their second win on the trot, while our S.G. Ball and Harold Matthews Cup sides enjoyed the bye.

Tarsha Gale Cup

Canberra Raiders 28 (Tries: A Carter 2, M Tooth, T Hinch, G Davis, T Campbell, G Elliott) d Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 8 (Tries: P Papalii, M Enright-Bullock)

The Raiders sealed their second win on the trot in the Tarsha Gale Cup as they secured a 20 point victory at the New Era Stadium in Cabramatta.

After claiming a six point win against the Indigenous Academy in Round 3, the Raiders backed up that performance by running in seven tries against the Bulldogs.

Ashely Carter scored twice in the match as the Raiders joined the Dragons and Eels on four competition points.

Sitting in seventh on the ladder, the Raiders have a four-point gap between themselves and the eighth-placed Indigenous Academy.

Jersey Flegg Trial Match

Elsewhere, the Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg side played the Bulldogs in a trial match.

A slow start saw the Raiders down 12-0 but the Raiders fought back to level the scores at halftime. However, the Bulldogs ended up claiming a 24-16 win.

Toby Westcott, Darby Medlyn, Jordan Martin and Matt Dragisic were the try scorers for the Raiders.
