Canberra Raiders Centre Joey Leilua will undergo surgery on a neck injury and will most likely be out for the remainder of the season.

Leilua met with a specialist and surgery was agreed as the best treatment for the injury and Joey''s long term health.

At this stage it is highly unlikely he will be available to play again this season.

Raiders forward John Bateman will miss 6-8 weeks as he recovers from eye-socket surgery. Bateman will re-commence training in two weeks once the surgery has had time to heal.
