Returning to the Katrina Fanning Shield after a year out, the Tuggeranong Buffaloes recorded three wins throughout the 2020 season.
Tuggeranong’s first win came in round three, with a 46-0 victory over West Belconnen. They followed that up with a 30-0 win in round six and a 36-0 win in round nine, both against West Belconnen.
The Buffaloes were competitive in all their games, pushing the Queanbeyan Blues and Bushpies many times during their clashes.
Madeline Burton was the top try-scorer for the Buffaloes, with five tries throughout the season.
Burton and Jessica Stanley were the top two Buffaloes players on the Best & Fairest 2020 leaderboard.
Season Highlight
The Buffaloes round three victory over West Belconnen was their first and biggest win of the season.
The Buffaloes ran in nine tries during the game, with Amanda Kyburz, Rebecca Halls, Karen Lyons, Bridgette Windsor, Sienna-Rose Bloor, Madeline Burton and Jessica Stanley all scoring four-pointers.
