Having reached the semi-final in 2019, the Tuggeranong Bushrangers will be aiming to have another strong season in the 2021 Canberra Raiders Cup competition.

The Bushrangers didn’t play last year, so will be well rested and fired up heading into round one next weekend.

Jarrad Teka is back as head coach for Tuggeranong. Teka won the Coach of the Year award in 2019, and brings lots of passion and experience to the side.

Teka has retained most of the 2019 squad while making a couple of new additions.

Cooper Purcell joins the Bushrangers this season and is a handy pick-up. The hooker from Illawarra captained the Country Under 23s and has played in the St George Illawarra Dragons reserve grade side.

Liam Oakley will also be a key player for the side, returning after a stint at Goulburn. Oakley can play both hooker and lock, and will be a dangerous player.

Hear from First Grade fullback Michael Brophy, League Tag hooker Shaye Baker and KFS forward Nirvana Ngan-Woo as they preview the 2021 season.
