Touch Football ACT Junior State Cup 2021 Wrap

The Touch Football ACT Junior State Cup was held on Sunday, with over 60 teams participating.

The two ACT affiliates performed well in their first hit out since February this year.

The U14 Magic girls, U16 Magic boys, U16 Magic girls and Deakin Thunder U16 girls all progressed through to the semi-finals.

The final of the U16 girls competition was a local derby with the northside Magic side up against the southside Thunder girls.

The Thunder side was too strong in the end for the Magic, winning 7-2. Thunder had an excellent tournament, scoring a massive 72 tries with only six tries scored against them.

All of the teams will continue training over the summer for the NSW Junior State Cup, which is set to be held from 18th February to 20th February 2022.
