Game Day Guide: Raiders v Eels

The Toyota Forklift Raiders are back at home this Saturday night to face the Parramatta Eels in our Forever Green round. 

Forever Green round is the annual fixture where we invite past players back to watch current stars ply their trade.

Two players will also be inducted into the Raiders Hall of Fame.

Game Day Charity: Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds Foundation 

Our 50-50 Charity Raffle proceeds from Round 11 will be going to our Game Day Charity, Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds. Raffle tickets will be available online and to purchase at the game, with 50% of the prize pool going to one lucky winner and the remaining amount minus admin fees to the charity.

Donating this round will assist Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds, promote and support the prevention and understanding of mental health issues that exist across the road transport, warehousing and logistics industries in Australia.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online via 5050charityraffle.com.au/raiders and at the Game on Sunday afternoon.

The lucky winner will be drawn in the second half of the NRL Round 11 match, Raiders v Eels.

Game Day Theme: Forever Green

This round we invite back past Raiders players for our annual Forever Green round. The players will be invited on a lap of honour of the field during our pre-game before being part of a live induction of two new members into the Canberra Raiders Hall of Fame.

The Canberra Raiders Hall of Fame currently has 29 inductees, with two new members to come this round!

Purchasing Tickets

Casual tickets can be purchased via Ticketek: www.ticketek.com.au

Tickets will be available at the gate, however, we strongly encourage everyone to pre-purchase online for ease of entry and to avoid having to wait in queues.

Casual tickets are cheaper to buy online than at the gate.

Conditions of Entry Updates

Many of the stadium Conditions of Entry have been updated, you can find a full list of updates at https://giostadiumcanberra.com.au/ticketing/conditions-of-entry/

Patrons who throw articles or gain unauthorised entry onto the field of play will be evicted and may be liable for prosecution. Fines of up to $8000 apply.

Ticket Assistance on Game Day

Any ticket holder that cannot find their ticket that they purchased via Ticketek can visit the Ticketek Box Office to have their ticket re-issued. Proof of identification will be needed to print off replacement tickets for the day.

Membership Information

Please note that the Meninga South Lounge in the Western Grandstand will be closed for a private event at this Saturday's game day. A reminder that the East Lounge in the Gregan-Larkham Stand is still available for Canberra Raiders Members to use if they please.

Membership Enquiries

Any current members with enquiries on the day can visit the membership booth at either the East or West ticket boxes.

A majority of members will now hold a digital membership card, any questions on how to access or read these cards should be directed to the membership team in either the East or West ticket boxes.

Membership Ticketing Replacement

Members are required to display their digital membership card upon entry. If you do not have your mobile device with you, please visit the membership team at the box offices prior to kick off. Tickets will not be able to be printed off at the Membership booths. If Member tickets are unable to load, we recommend screenshotting the ticket and saving it to the camera roll for future use.

West and East Lounge Access

East Lounge access is given to patrons who are Raiders Members (must display physical or digital member card) and Grandstand ticket holders.
East Grandstand (bay 22-32) ticket holders may only access the Eastern lounge.

Please note the West (Southern end) Lounge will be closed all day due to a private function.

‘Let’s Meet at The Huddle!’

Game days are about to heat up as GIO Stadium Canberra welcomes ‘The Huddle’ - our new outdoor entertainment hub for Raiders game days!

Come pre-game (from gates open) and stay after the game to enjoy delicious snacks, cold refreshments, and quality entertainment.

You’ll find The Huddle located in prime position behind the Mal Meninga Stand on the western side of the venue.

We hope you’ll join us for every Raiders home match this season.

Merchandise Outlets

Raiders Shop outlets will be open on the West Forecourt and South Concourse. These outlets will open at 3:30pm and close at the end of NRL half-time (approx. 8:25pm).

Parking

Paid parking is in place for this match at $10 per vehicle. Early-bird parking is applicable at $5 per vehicle until 45 minutes prior to NRL kick-off.

Overflow parking is available at the University of Canberra accessed via College St and buses will have some capacity to pick up on College St which is a 20 minute walk to/from the stadium. Please consider car-pooling to alleviate traffic congestion as parking will be limited.

Victor and Velda are using public transport to get to this week’s game, and you can do the same.
