Round Four of the Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield saw three intriguing matchups, highlighted by the Queanbeyan Blues pushing the West Belconnen Warriors.
West Belconnen Warriors 28 def. Queanbeyan Blues 22
The West Belconnen Warriors held on in a tight encounter to claim a six-point victory against the Queanbeyan Blues at Seiffert Oval on Saturday.
In the five tries to four victory, the defending premiers held their nerve and produced their toughest win of the 2026 campaign to remain top of the KFS competition.
Meanwhile, for the Blues the loss provides them with plenty of confidence, in what was there second game since returning to the competition, with the middle forwards being a handful at times.
The Blues have their third bye of the season next weekend, whilst the Bulls will strive for five straight against the Bulls at Gungahlin.
Woden Valley Rams 28 def. Tuggeranong Bushrangers 12
The Woden Valley Rams secured back-to-back wins this weekend with a strong sixteen-point victory against the Tuggeranong Bushrangers.
Rams centre Grace Milne impressed once again for the home side, with the talented outside back scoring a double, whilst Lara Cosgrove scored a try and added four conversions.
For the Bushrangers, they suffer their third loss of the season after a bye in Round One, Niki Patterson and Zali Waihape crossing for a try each.
The Woden Valley Rams will have the weekend off in Round Five with the bye, whilst the Tuggeranong Bushrangers face the Yass Magpies at home.
Belconnen United Sharks 36 def. Yass Magpies 0
The Belconnen United Sharks claimed a dominant victory at Walker Park against the Yass Magpies last weekend.
In an all-round performance, the visitors defensive and attacking prowess was on full display, keeping the Magpies to zero, whilst scoring six tries which included another double to winger Eliza Taylor.
Meanwhile, the loss for the Magpies sees them sit bottom of the KFS table and winless in the 2026 season, with another opportunity this weekend to claim that elusive two points.
The Magpies take on the Bushrangers at Greenway Oval in Round Five, whilst the Belconnen United Sharks have the bye.
