Despite the positive start, Penrith were quick to strangle momentum, running in five tries before the Raiders could respond with another of their own.

Canberra kept their hopes alive through Michael Asomua, who crossed in the 62nd minute, closing the deficit to just ten points.

As they had done in the first half, Penrith wasted no time to respond, running in a further two tries bringing the full-time score to 38-18.

With the bye coming up this weekend, the Raiders will look to reset ahead of their round 12 clash against the Manly Sea Eagles at home on Saturday the 23rd of May.

Momentum swung back-and-forth for the remainder of the half, with the Raiders scoring three tries in the final 13 minutes to level the scoreboard at 20-all heading into the sheds.

Despite seeing their lead perish in the first half, the Panthers worked their way to another commanding lead, scoring three unanswered tries to lead by 18 with 13 minutes to play.

The Raiders fought hard in the final ten minutes of play, reducing the lead to nine after back-to-back tries to Shalom Uatisone and Kruger Roach.
