NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 24 Preview

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders will head to Sydney to take on Cronulla and Newtown in this weekend's Cup & Flegg.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders travel north to meet the Sharks at 12:35pm on Saturday in a pivotal round 23 clash.

Canberra sits ninth on the ladder, just two points outside the top eight, meanwhile, the Sharks are six points clear in fourth.

Momentum favours Canberra after a 38‑26 win over the Knights, while the Sharks stumbled in a 36‑12 loss to the Dragons. The Raiders also carry confidence from their 42‑20 victory over Cronulla earlier this season.

The Raiders will need one final push to secure an exciting end to the season.

The Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders head to Sydney to face the Jets at 3pm on Saturday in round 23 of the season.

Canberra will be looking to rebound after last week’s narrow 20‑16 loss to the Knights despite their 16‑12 lead at halftime. The Raiders have won nine of their 12 matchups against the Jets and will aim to continue to grow this record to close out the 2026 season.

Key changes to strengthen the forward pack include Jordan Uta shifting into the second row for Matty Nicholson, while Samuel Hyne starts at prop in place of Vena Patuki‑Case.

With the season coming to an end, the Raiders will look to end on a high in their final two rounds.
