Young halfback Coby Black joined the Raiders on a three-year deal from Brisbane, further strengthening the club's stocks ahead of the 2026 season.
Black joins the Green Machine having represented the Queensland Under 19’s side on two occasions, including captaining the Maroons to a 23-22 victory earlier in 2025.
The 19-year-old halfback has played 21 games of QLD Cup for the Souths Logan Magpies, scoring seven tries and logging a further 14 try assists.
Black will look to make his mark in 2026 as he continues his development in Canberra and pushes for his NRL debut.
