Hohepa Puru came to the Raiders at the end of 2022 from the Panthers, following their Jersey Flegg Cup premiership which Puru captained and earnt man of the match honours.
Puru had a fantastic 2023 season which saw the lock-forward become one of the rising stars in NSW Cup, leading to his NRL debut in Round 27 against the Sharks.
Puru signed an extension with the club, making him a Raider for the 2024 season and an option for 2025.
