ANZAC Ceremony
Australia’s Federation Guard & the Royal Military College will conduct the traditional ANZAC Ceremony at 5.45pm.
There will also be FREE Entry for defence personnel as per below:
- Current Defence personnel with their official Defence ID
- Defence personnel with a ‘Returned from Active Service’ badge
- RSL Members with an RSL badge
These forms of ID entitle the holder to 1 x complimentary general admission ticket which can be claimed on the day at either the East or West ticketing offices. Tickets available from 3.30pm until 6.40pm on Friday 21st April 2017 at GIO Stadium only.
Viking Clap
Due to the ANZAC Ceremony happening before kick-off of the NRL match, the Viking Clap will occur for the Raiders run out for the second half. Please respect the ANZAC Ceremony and do not attempt a Viking Clap before kick-off or at the start of the match.

Members
There will be heaps happening in the members lounge on Friday, located in the west grandstand.
Members can enter their details in the Lounge from gates open until kick-off for a chance to be upgraded with three mates at the next Raiders home game thanks to both Huawei and Dare. The Huawei upgrade winner will be the Viking VIP at Round 12 v Roosters.

Pre/Half-Time Entertainment
The ANZAC Ceremony will occur before kick-off of the NRL match. Brindabella Physical Culture dance school will perform prior to the ceremony.
The RMC Band, the Rising Suns, will perform for the crowd at half-time.
Make sure you're also watching the big screen at half-time for the Coca Cola 'Zero to Win' and Duxton 'Dance Cam' competitions.

Food and Beverage
Given the large crowd expected, additional food and beverage outlets will be open at GIO Stadium on Friday. The Slab Bar will be open at the south of the stadium, with a variety of food options available. There is also a new gourmet pie shop on the East concourse which is well worth checking out!
Don't forget, Raiders members receive 10% off food at GIO Stadium.
Merchandise
There will be three merchandise outlets at GIO Stadium on Friday, full of the latest Raiders merchandise to show your support for the team! The outlets are located in the East and West forecourts, and also in the East concourse.

Getting to GIO Stadium
Public transport will be the best and easiest option to travel to and from GIO Stadium on Friday. There are free charted buses departing regularly from Woden, Tuggeranong, Belconnen, City and Gungahlin Bus Stations.
Charter buses will commence return travel to the above bus stations approximately 20 minutes after the game.

The Duxton at O'Connor has a meal and ticket deal available, with a bus to and from the stadium also available for $5. More information HERE.
Parking
Parking is available at GIO Stadium on the East and West of the stadium at a cost of $7 per car. Parking is likely to fill up before kick-off, so again we are encouraging fans to arrive early and consider public transport.
Some general road closures and managed access arrangements will apply in the GIO Stadium precinct on the day. Modified traffic arrangements will commence two hours before the start of the game and during the game, and will continue for up to one hour once the game concludes. These will be implemented on Haydon Drive, Battye Street, Braybrooke Street and Masterman Street in Bruce.
A temporary taxi rank will be in service outside the main entrance (West) to GIO Stadium during event times. Community drop-off points are located out the front of the AIS arena.
Following the Match
The NRL match is live on Fox Sports Channel 502. NYC is not televised. If you don't have Fox Sports and want to watch the NRL match, the NRL Digital Pass is the next best option.
