The Canberra Raiders will be looking for nothing less than a win against the South Sydney Rabbitohs if they are to remain in contention with the top eight.

Currently sitting in 11th position, the Raiders are just two wins off a spot in the finals but will need to walk off the field victorious on Saturday if they are to leap-frog the Rabbitohs who sit directly above them in 10th.

After a tough 24-36 defeat last week against the lower placed Melbourne Storm, the Raiders have a point to prove this weekend when they face off against a South Sydney side which is recovering from a 40-point hiding last week.

The Rabbitohs have a strong record at home winning five straight games on home turf while the Raiders have at times struggled at away games this year.

The Raiders will field an unchanged 17 from last week. Hudson Young retains his spot covering for Kalani Going who is recovering from a broken hand, while Jarred Tuite will captain the team once again.
