Raiders winger Nick Cotric returns to where his NRL career began as the Raiders travel to Townsville to face the Cowboys.
The winger has been solid to start the season grabbing two tries and is only behind Kalyn Ponga in tackle busts racking up 43 in the first seven outings of the season.
Cotric knows it will be a tough task despite the Cowboys position on the ladder.
"They have talented players and we can't take any team for granted in the NRL as every team has such quality players and you don't know what will happen until the day so we just have to take it as it comes" Cotric said.
Memories flow back to the last time the sides faced off in Townsville with the Raiders losing in golden point.
Cotric can recollect the game well as it was his first in the top grade and the nature in which it finished.
"I just remember the field goal that JT (Johnathan Thurston) kicked that hit the cross bar and bounced back and they scored, it was pretty devastating."
