Raiders forward Joe Tapine has been ruled out of contention for Saturday nights match against the Cowboys in Townsville with an existing thumb injury.

Tapine trained this morning at Raiders HQ, with medical staff assessing that he'll require at least one more week off. 

Aidan Sezer will miss at least one more match and will be assessed weekly on his oblique injury. 

Michael Oldfield continues with his rehab training for a groin injury. 

Brad Abbey injured his knee playing for Mounties last week and will miss 4-6 weeks.

EXPECTED RETURN: Round 5

NOTE: Tapine has been ruled out for round four with a thumb injury

 

NAME: Aidan Sezer

INJURY: Oblique

EXPECTED RETURN: Round 5-6

NOTE: Sezer will continue to be assessed weekly to determine his return to football

 

NAME: Michael Oldfield

INJURY: Groin

EXPECTED RETURN: Round 5-6

NOTE: Oldfield picked up a groin injury at training and will continue to be assessed by the Canberra Raiders rehabilitation staff.

 

NAME: Brad Abbey

INJURY: Knee

EXPECTED RETURN: Round 8-10

NOTE: Abbey sustained a knee injury playing for Mounties and will miss 4-6 weeks
