Queensland representative Sophie Holyman comes from a rugby union background before switching codes prior to the 2022 NRLW season to join the Brisbane Broncos.
After a year with the Broncos, Holyman moved to Canberra and is locked in with the club until the end of the 2027 NRLW season.
The 27-year-old has played for the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII team that played Papua New Guinea in 2022 and 2024. She has also played for the Queensland Maroons in the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Women’s State of Origin Series’.
Holyman was also a finalist for the Veronica White Medal in 2023 in recognition of her contribution to the community.
